I never knew the impact I would have on freshmen as a Peer Leader. I knew that my role was important and the students would need me and look up to me at times. I did not know I would make lifelong friends to hang out with, talk to, and spend time with. –Hope Millsaps |

| Being a peer leader has taught me many things. I have learned about teaching styles, my personal strengths, and how to help and relate to incoming freshmen. I would have never thought that being a peer leader would turn out to be so much fun and self-fulfilling. –Michael Trivette |

When I look back on the syllabus, I do not see where it says, “growing experience, up at night wondering how a test is going for one of my freshmen, having to deal with a death in a student’s family, and how important your relationship with your faculty partner is.” These are just some of the things I have learned from the experience, not only about myself, but about how influential the Freshman Seminar program is. –Lindsay Welsher |
